As part of the Morpeth Heritage Weekend, the Youth Centre was opened to the public on Saturday 19 September.

The exhibition was a real success with a constant stream of visitors (alumni plus others) throughout the four hours. Feedback was very positive with requests for more events. We offered a taste of cakes and biscuits from wartime and code breaking puzzles too. Our oldest visitor was 84  years old and our youngest were  7 and 11yrs. A couple visited to see the Raymond Pratt Shield for Shooting; he was a great great uncle. The shield was presented to the school in his honour after he died near the end of WW1.
