Asymptomatic testing over the holidays
The asymptomatic testing programme will be paused for students over the summer holidays. You can continue to do so by ordering LFD test kits from GOV.UK or by collecting kits from your local pharmacy.
Symptomatic testing over the holidays
If your child develops symptoms at any time over the holidays (including a high temperature; a new, continuous cough; or a loss or change to their sense of smell or taste and in addition sore throat or headaches) they must immediately self-isolate, and book a test by visiting https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test.
If your child tests positive on a PCR test at any time over the holidays then please report immediately to school by emailing [email protected].
On site testing in September
We have been directed to offer your child two tests on site at King Edward’s at the start of term before continuing regular testing at home.
Letters sent to Parents/Carers with arrangements for testing in September can be read in full here:
Year 10, Year 11 and Year 13
Year 12 (existing KEVI students moving into sixth form)
