Students from A Level Product Design visited FaulknerBrown Architects in Killingworth as part of their course; understanding Design Technology in Commercial Industry.

All students had a studio tour and a workshop tour so they can see what it is like working in a professional environment. There presentations from various staff within FaulknerBrown so they could discover the variety of roles available and they also took part in a design challenge to create a concept for a community pavilion with thought around how to make it inclusive and sustainable. The visit really brought the curriculum to life.

The staff at FaulknerBrown commented on studnets’ excellent behaviour and also their positive and engaged attitude towards the team challenge that they created.
