Introduction

As a school we aim to conduct 2-3 robust assessments throughout each academic year, the outcomes of these are used alongside teacher professional judgement and other internal forms of assessment to inform Grade Update predictions.

In years 10-13, each Grade Update will report a final grade prediction for either GCSE or A Level, an attitude to learning score (1-5) and any concerns. Individual assessment percentages will only be shared at the time of mock exams. In year 9, Core subjects will report GCSE grades at the end of the year while all other subjects will continue to report in the same Key stage 3 format seen in year 8.

Typically each Year group will have 2-3 Grade updates per year which are reported home to parents and carers.

Underneath the table are links to help your child to revise for the relevant assessments in their chosen subjects. There is no expectation that your child engages with all the materials offered rather selects those that are most appropriate for them.
