GCSE Results Day – Thursday 24 August 2023

GCSE Level Results will be released to all students on Thursday 24 August. Results will be available for collection, in person by individual students from 9.00am from the Upper School Hall.

Alternatively, results will be emailed out to a student’s 3rivers/Cheviotlt account by 12 noon on Thursday 24 August. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to arrange for your results to be emailed. Otherwise any uncollected results will be posted home on the same day.

Post Results Services

Information on the post results services available, as well as the costs and deadlines to request will be found here by the end of term. Students should ensure they are familiar with this information in advance of results day.

Exam Certificates

Exam certificates will arrive at school in November. These will be posted out to the student’s home address via Royal Mail recorded delivery at a cost of Ā£3.50. Payment for this is available via My Child at School now. Please ensure that you inform us immediately of any change of address to avoid certificates being lost; certificates are Ā£50 each to replace. Students who do not pay for certificates to be posted home must contact the exams office in December to make an appointment to come and collect their certificates. These must be collected by the student themselves and they are required to bring with them photo ID.

Sixth Form EnrolmentĀ

Once your final grades are confirmed on Thursday 24 August you will need to enrol with Sixth Form. All applications have been assessed and are pending confirmation of GCSE results.

In order to study a subject you must meet the published entry criteria with the results you hold. Where you have not met the entry criteria for your chosen subjects you must discuss your application with a senior member of staff or mentor on 24 or 25 August. Acceptance onto alternative courses will not be confirmed during enrolment, no guarantees can be made to any changes requested and will be subject to availability. If there are any issues with your application you will be contacted prior to starting on 5 September 2023.

In order to secure your place in Sixth Form you must complete the enrolment process in person in the Upper School Hall from 9.30am – 2 pm on 24 August and from 9am – 2pm on 25 August. Enrolment confirms your place in Sixth Form and allows you to request changes to your chosen subjects.Ā  For students unable to enrol in person a Google Form will be sent to the email address linked to the application on the afternoon of 24 August, this will allow enrolment to be completed online. Anyone who does not complete enrolment by 2pm on 25 August will have their application put on hold and will be contacted by email.

Term starts at 9.00am on Tuesday 5 September 2023, when Year 12 should report to the Upper School Hall for their induction day.
